MSF: Best Iso-8 Class for Jessica Jones

Alex Mercer

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Jessica Jones, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Jessica Jones, the Defender who serves as a Controller in the Hero, City and Bio categories in Marvel Strike Force. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to the game.

Iso-8 Focus: Armor & Health. For Jessica Jones, her role is to cleanse, dispel and annoy the enemy. She is not a big hitter but her removal of debuffs and granting ability points to her allies makes her highly valuable. Keeping her alive is important so that she can continue to fuel the attackers and healer in the Punfender team she most commonly used used on.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Jessica Jones in Marvel Strike Force:

Since Jessica Jones is a Controller in Marvel Strike Force and her role is really to annoy the enemy, her Iso-8 class in MSF seems to fall in line with the Skirmisher Class, but her use of her abilities does not. Once could make the case for Healer or Fortifier, but given Luke Cage fits the Fortifier role perfectlyon the Defender team, the argument really falls on how to use the four more offensive characters – JJ, Iron Fist, Daredevil and Punisher. Personally, I started Jessica Jones off as a Skirmisher and tested her with Punisher as a Raider and Daredevil and did not like how it breaks down. I even wrote a more in-depth article on the best Iso-8 for the Defenders & Punisher in MSF to go into more detail. Where this took me was to flip-flop the Iso-8 classes of Iron Fist and JJ and use her as the healer given he has two attacks to her one, thus more opportunities for landing Vulnerable on enemies.

Note that these classes are determined by the user (you) and can change at any time based on team composition, uses in different lineups and game modes, personal preference, theory crafting and more.
